Responsibilities:
- Process purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide assistance with their inquiries or special requests
- Handle orders placed in person or through phone calls, ensuring accurate input of details and timely processing
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and generate sales reports as required
- Be familiar with product offerings to assist customers with their choices and answer questions confidently
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area to reflect the brand’s high standards
- Work closely with sales staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Apply special offers or discounts as instructed and communicate promotional details to customers
- Answer calls promptly and courteously, taking phone orders and providing accurate information about products and services
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
