Cashier / Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Process purchases accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
  • Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and provide assistance with their inquiries or special requests
  • Handle orders placed in person or through phone calls, ensuring accurate input of details and timely processing
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, reconcile cash drawers, and generate sales reports as required
  • Be familiar with product offerings to assist customers with their choices and answer questions confidently
  • Address customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor or manager when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area to reflect the brand’s high standards
  • Work closely with sales staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
  • Apply special offers or discounts as instructed and communicate promotional details to customers
  • Answer calls promptly and courteously, taking phone orders and providing accurate information about products and services

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
