Business Development Manager

Department: Commercial / Business Development
Reports To: COO

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding business with existing accounts, and identifying new markets and industries for IRC’s HR and outsourcing services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Acquisition
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct discovery meetings and present tailored solutions.
• Prepare proposals and lead negotiations.
• Close deals in line with IRC commercial policies.

Existing Client Development & Retention
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Conduct periodic business reviews.
• Support contract renewals and expansions.

Client Visits & Market Presence
• Conduct regular client visits and meetings.
• Represent IRC professionally.
• Attend events and networking activities.

New Markets & Industry Expansion
• Identify new markets and industries.
• Conduct basic market analysis.
• Support expansion initiatives.

Commercial Reporting & Governance
• Maintain CRM and forecasts.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with pricing and approval matrix.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR or related.
• 5–7 years B2B sales / BD experience.
• HR services / outsourcing experience preferred.
