Duties and Responsibilities: GM – Business Solutions

  1. Project Management:
  • Maintain proper procedures and documentation process and ensure they are followed in project execution.
  • Develop and maintain master project plan for all projects.
  • Control the scheduling of project to meet customer deadlines and efficiently utilize the technical team.
  • Ensure that the technical team is trained on project execution process and documentation before they are involved in a project.
  • Monitor and control the integrity of project files.
  • Monitor and control project milestones and ensure their deadlines are met on time along with timely invoicing.
  1. Support Management
  • Maintain proper procedures and documentation process and ensure they are followed in rendering the service.
  • Develop and maintain support schedule to ensure uninterrupted service is provided.
  • Ensure that the technical team is trained on service process and documentation.
  • Monitor and control the integrity of support files.
  • Maintain Client relationship.
  • Eradicate customers complaints.
  1. Business Development
  • Get updated with oracle transition aspects and products can be added to the portfolio, especially back-office products and cloud solutions.
  • Identify customer business IT requirements, and target to be IT solution provider to hospitality sector.
  • Introduce computer, servers and network infrastructure hardware and software covered by back-to-back support by vendors.
  • Collect information about hospitality sector from government bodies and establish communication with prospect customers.
  • Introduce cloud solutions and tablet to market using chain success cases to build client confidence.
  1. Profitability
  • Create a budget for the division and compare it to financial results.
  • Maintain an updated sales price list and discounts allowed.
  • Develop a standard support/AMC pricing structure.
  • Monitor the utilization of technical team.
  • Monitor the cashflow of the division to minimize financial expenses.
  • Be responsible of the division Profit & Loss monthly statement.
  • Be responsible of the division annual profit growth.
